West View Guest House

Breakfast kept us going until lunch. We had a tasty English breakfast with a big Cumberland sausage, as well as pancakes. There was also milk, yogurt, fruit, cereals and nuts to help ourselves to. We stayed in the small room, but had enough room for our clothes over four nights. The house also has a lovely shared space with two big sofas, children’s games and a mountain view. Heather and Craig were so friendly and welcoming. We weren’t sure which of the many trails to pick, so they suggested some lovely hikes and places to visit and lent us maps. We had a super lovely stay at the West View guesthouse!

The hosts are lovely, and the breakfast is generous and excellent quality. This is a well appointed B&B, just a short walk from Keswick centre. Parking can be tricky, but once you find a space you don't need to move the car again. There are great walks nearby for all levels, and the owners know the area really well.

The room was cosy and lovely, with a very comfortable bed. Heather was kind and attentive, and I had a great time staying here. I’d like to come back.

I was here a few years ago and remember the amazing breakfasts. The room was lovely, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. A very good place to stay. :)
