The food was flawless on both nights we ate in the restaurant, with lovely produce and such inventive dishes that choosing was hard. The mocktails are well worth trying. We visit Lyzzick at least once a year and have loved it for seven years, so we were keen to see the changes. The renovation looks fantastic, from the stylish decor to the atmosphere and music. The new owners and staff have got it right, and it was lovely to see familiar staff as well as new faces who made us feel welcome. Thanks for such an amazing stay. We'll be back soon!

Our table looked out over Bassenthwaite and the fells, a lovely, relaxing view. The welcome and service from everyone were warm, and the staff we spoke to seemed so proud of their work and the place. The food was an exquisite treat, both in quality and presentation. Between our two visits, the reception, bar and restaurant were refurbished, and the thoughtful design has transformed them into a really stylish space. We've been to Lyzick Hall twice, first for lunch with friends just before Christmas, then for Sunday dinner in Feb 26 to celebrate a birthday. Outstanding throughout. We look forward to another visit and highly recommend it.

The bar is beautiful, and we had a great lunch there with fabulous views. The newly renovated hotel is lovely, and the staff were exceptionally cheerful and helpful. We'll definitely be back. It's a little jewel.

The freshly baked cookies were a lovely treat with a cup of tea after a day on the fells. Our room was spacious and stunning, and the receptionist made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Breakfast was outstanding, and every member of staff was friendly and helpful. We'll 100% be back to Lyzzick Hall.

The newly refurbished bar and dining area is gorgeous, and the team were attentive and friendly throughout. It was refreshing to get that level of service. We came for dinner and ate in the bar; the drinks and food were delicious, especially the Burger and Ragu. The fast electric chargers were 40p /kWh, much cheaper than anywhere else in the area and handy while we ate. We were staying in a remote cabin with limited WiFi, and when I needed to take an important call the next day, the team let me use the library. Would recommend. Thanks Abby and team.
