Maple Bank

Kate and the team had thought of everything, and there was lots of helpful information about local transport, the area, tips, pubs and takeaways. They welcomed us and our dog warmly, with towels and trays for his bowls and cosy fleeces on the bed. The only request was that he stay off the white linen, which goes without saying. He got a sausage for his own breakfast every morning and was allowed to enjoy the enclosed garden. The locally sourced breakfast was amazing. I’d highly recommend this guest house to family and friends, and we’ll certainly be back. A wonderful stay all round. Thank you, Jordan, Carla & Otis 🐾

The fresh homemade cakes, fruit and milk in the dining room were another lovely touch. We had a wonderful stay, and this was our second visit. We've already booked again for next year, and I fully recommend this B&B. The rooms are lovely, with high quality extras and a really comfortable bed. Breakfast has a great choice, is excellent quality, and gets the day off to a good start. We thoroughly enjoyed both stays.

Walks start right from the door, and the beautiful views and easy access to Braithwaite and Keswick make the location hard to beat. Breakfast is superb, especially the haggis, and Kate is a fantastic host. This was our second stay at Maple Bank and it was just as brilliant as the first. We've already booked for next year, which says it all.

The hostess was amazing, and breakfast was amazing too. It was lovely to have delicious cake and tea waiting in the afternoon. The location is ery good, just a five minute drive from Keswick, and there's a gorgeous view from the front of the house.
