Can’t fault the place. The room was nice, and the shower was excellent. It’s five minutes on foot to town and about the same to the lake, and having parking on site was a bonus. The towels and room were refreshed every day, along with fresh milk and water. Thanks, Andy, nice to meet you.

The rooms were wonderfully spacious and clean, and the en-suite was just as nice. Tea and coffee were provided, but the milk was kept downstairs. For us that meant going down two flights of stairs. People shouldn’t have to leave their room for milk to make a cup of tea. Single-serve cartons of long-life milk would do the job, as everywhere else I’ve stayed has them.

The food really stood out. Breakfast was amazing, with fantastic homemade dishes and bread, and Rosie and Andy were attentive, helpful hosts who catered for all dietary needs. We’ve stayed in plenty of Keswick B&Bs, and this was by far the best. The rooms were bright, modern and immaculately clean, and the first impression was excellent. It’s in a quiet spot near the lake, so we weren’t disturbed, yet the town was only three minutes away. Absolutely recommend it, and I can’t wait to come back.
