It was an easy walk into the town centre from Harvington House, and our room was cosy, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We had a very comfortable two-night stay. Gina and Graham were lovely hosts, warm and welcoming, with loads of useful local knowledge.

Gina and Graham made us feel at home over the August bank holiday weekend. Graham gave us a friendly, informative welcome and showed us to a cosy room with a comfortable bed and a hot shower. Breakfast was lovely, with great produce, and he was always happy to bring more toast or hot drinks. They were both very friendly and ready with tips about the area. Thanks to Gina for the great service, too.

The breakfast was the best we had in the whole Lake District. Harvington House is a fabulous place to stay, and the hosts were charming and friendly, with plenty of helpful ideas for things to do and places to eat.

Graham and Gina were always around when we wanted ideas for what to do. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the town centre was only about five minutes away.

We were close to both town and the trails we planned to hike, and Graham's local suggestions were all good ones. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed, and breakfast each morning was lovely. We had such a nice time at Graham and Gina’s B&B that I wanted to leave a review. We’ll be back!
