Matt made lovely breakfasts, beautifully cooked, and even gave me homemade bread pudding to enjoy on the journey home. I enjoyed my stay. The place is in a great location by Fitz park, very close to the town centre. Highly recommend it.

We’re a family of three with a cockapoo, and we were warmly welcomed. Our family room was spotless, with a comfy bedroom and a large bathroom. Breakfast was beautiful, and they packed a homemade piece of cake for each of us in brown paper to take along on our day out. Such a thoughtful touch.

The only hiccup was that the WiFi didn’t work the first night, though it sorted itself out the next morning and we didn’t mind. Otherwise, I had an excellent stay. The room was clean and cosy, the man I dealt with was extremely friendly to us and the dog, and breakfast was lovely with more choice than either of us expected. The cake as a parting gift was nice too.

We stayed two nights and had a lovely, clean, comfortable room. The breakfasts were brilliant, and the owners were helpful and welcoming. We’ll definitely stay here again when we come back.

That homemade cake was such a nice send-off. I’ve just enjoyed it with a cup of tea at home. We had a lovely room and a really comfortable bed, and breakfast had a great choice both mornings. Matt gave us a warm welcome, and we had a good chat about running. We’ve just got back from two nights here and always try to stay in the same area. The Salisbury didn’t disappoint. We’ll be back 😀
