I took a solo spa trip a little while ago and had an incredible, relaxing day. The place is stunning and the staff were lovely. Margaret in the spa cafe deserves a special mention: she's the nicest staff member I've ever met and couldn't do enough for me. She's a real credit to the hotel and spa. Thank you, Margaret 🤍

Breakfast was a highlight of my stay at Rushton Hall. The food was very good, with a nice selection, cooked well and served promptly in a relaxed atmosphere. Mel was excellent, friendly and attentive without hovering, and Note was also warm and welcoming. Both added to the experience. The historic building and grounds are beautiful and peaceful, with plenty of charm. My room was comfortable and well-presented, and the hotel was generally well kept, though a few areas could use a refresh. I had a really enjoyable stay and would consider returning for another quiet break.

We booked the zodiac room for the May bank holiday weekend after my husband decided we should do something special. It was stunning, and the spa was indulgent and relaxing in that amazing setting. The staff were attentive, and I'm glad we didn't skip breakfast: there were lots of high-quality options, and we'd highly recommend it. Rushton Hall has a rare, quiet, almost magical feel. As soon as we drove up and went inside, the modern world seemed to disappear. Its old-world character and calm made us slow down and breathe. We left feeling restored and relaxed. We can't wait to return. Thank you for having us 😁

The grounds and building are beautifully kept and scenic, and our room was comfortable with lovely views and an impressive bathroom. The staff were friendly overall. Wei made our Sunday evening meal at the Brasserie especially good: she was attentive, knew a lot about the hotel's history and answered all our questions enthusiastically. Even though we asked late and without notice, she kindly showed us around the cellar bar. The food was excellent, especially the fillet steak. We chose the hotel for its spa, but that part let us down. The facilities felt small and not especially special for a hotel promoted as a spa destination, with few loungers and a compact sauna and steam room. At the spa café on Sunday afternoon, the staff member on duty was rather rude and turned us away when we tried to order food at 3:15pm. We stayed one night on Sunday, and expected a more impressive spa.

The staff are easily the hotel's biggest asset. Service was exceptional throughout, and nothing seemed too much trouble. Special thanks to Dave, Ahmed, Olivia, Ashley, Maggie, Macey, Hannah, Chloe, Yannis and Wae. The surroundings are beautiful, with lots of lovely reception rooms on the ground floor. My sister and I booked the gourmet two-night break and then got a good deal to add a third night with afternoon tea, making it four fantastic days. Dave greeted us at reception and helped us to our lovely room. It had been set up as a double instead of a twin, but Dave quickly arranged for Ahmed to sort the beds. The room had a huge bathroom with a roll-top bath and a TV on the wall to watch while bathing, as well as robes and slippers. We enjoyed high-quality food and service in the Brasserie, a wide breakfast choice with plenty of extras available, a very enjoyable seven-course tasting dinner, a spa massage and swim, and delicious afternoon tea. I'd strongly recommend the hotel.
