We had a quiet stay at Manor Lodge, with no train or traffic noise reaching us. It's our first visit, but we plan to return. Shops, the station, swimming pool and library are all conveniently close, and there's a bus stop nearby. We ate breakfast in town, though the kitchen is available if you'd rather make your own, and there's a shared fridge. There's also a lounge and dining area for eating or relaxing.

Breakfast was a nice full English, with tea, coffee, orange juice and toast. The breakfast room was a bit cold, though that wouldn't put me off coming back. Our room was lovely and warm as soon as they turned on the heating after we arrived, and the bed was really comfortable with fresh smelling bedding. Lovely little place, thank you.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and parking out front was easy with enough spaces. The room and bed were both spacious and comfortable, and there were plenty of power points, which is handy these days. Breakfast was the standard English one and was fine. My only small gripe was that the coffee could have been better.

Neil's wife cooks a really good breakfast, with Neil looking after guests out front. They make the old Victorian house feel very homely. We stayed three nights and would happily return. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we slept well. Set between the road and railway, it offers good value for money.

The room had everything we needed and was comfortable. Manor Lodge is right by the train station, and Bristol centre is only about ten minutes away. Although we hadn't called ahead, the hotel still made us a lovely cooked vegan breakfast. A lovely stay.
