Kidlington 3 BR House Parking Large Garden

I don't usually leave bad reviews, but they really messed this up. I’d told them when booking that I expected to arrive around 19:00, and got there about 19:15. I followed the key instructions, but there was no key in the box. On the phone, they said the room had been double booked. They’d only messaged me about it at 19:05, when I was already there after a long day, hungry and sleepy. Booking helped sort it out, but this situation was unacceptable.

Breakfast was simple but okay, and the bathrobes were a nice touch. We stayed three nights in a downstairs twin room. The location was great and everything was very clean, but noise from next door spoiled the stay. There was loud talking, or maybe gaming, until 4:30 on the second night, then talking again the last night until we managed to sleep with earplugs. I messaged the host and got no reply.

We were in Oxford for a wedding and had a very positive stay here. The hotel was very clean, with cleaning every day, and breakfast was self-service with everything laid out. The bus stop is at most a five-minute walk away, and buses 2 and 2a go into Oxford centre. I'd recommend this place if you're visiting Oxford.

The rooms were marvellously appointed and really clean, with nothing to fault there. I hadn't realised the bathroom was a separate shared facility. The kitchen and breakfast setup looked lovely, though toast was the only warm option. I only had coffee from a cafetiere and biscuits. It might be worth having a cook on site around 8 or 9 to offer a cooked breakfast; outside that, you're on your own.
