The little cafe has a small menu, but the food was unbelievably delicious. My room was clean, the shared bathroom spotless, and the staff friendly and helpful. I loved my stay at this fantastic hostel and will definitely be back. Thanks a lot.

We were four adults and a baby, and stayed for just one night. The Great Glen Hostel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was very good and reasonably priced. The kids loved seeing the animals on the nearby grounds, and the mountain views are stunning. I highly recommend it.

The Great Glen Hostel is in a handy spot for visiting lots of beautiful places and taking day trips. We had a wonderful time and would gladly come back. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived. The place is cosy and nicely decorated inside, and looks lovely from the outside too. Everyone treated us with kindness and care, and the food at the on-site restaurant was delicious, with just as good service. We also really appreciated how clean the shared bathroom was.

Nicole was a brilliant host, friendly, welcoming and helpful. We asked a few daft questions and she answered every one. We upgraded our room, had a marvellous venison chilli dinner, then spent a very relaxing evening in the lounge with a local ale or two. The hostel has all the facilities you need and is extremely well run. Its rolling refurbishment programme is making a real difference to the guest experience. And the wine list is wow, better than most restaurants. I’d thoroughly recommend it as one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in, if not the best.
