We spent a few pleasant hours here. The wine and beer selection was good, and the food was very good for the price. It’s in a lovely part of Herefordshire, and the inn feels just like you’d picture an old English pub.

We had a really tasty Sunday roast, with generous portions and plenty to choose from. The service was friendly, and being able to bring our dog along was perfect. Such a gorgeous place for a family meal. Highly recommend.

The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and having sent in our menu choices a few days ahead worked perfectly. We celebrated my 70th with 8 adults and 4 children, all seated together in a room set up for us. The staff were amazing, the service was excellent, and they made me and my guests feel special. Nothing was too much trouble.

We were in the area for a 2 day course at Oldfield Forge and would happily stay here again. Breakfast was amazing, with lovely service, and dinner was great too. Our room had just what we needed, and the staff made us feel very welcome.

We came for an anniversary dinner on a Saturday evening with our 2 small children, and the staff made us feel completely welcome. The setting is beautiful and the food was amazing. The venison deserves a special mention, it was fantastic. What a great place, highly recommend!
