We needed somewhere to stay at short notice, and this did the job. It was clean and basic, but had what we needed, and the staff were really friendly. For the low price, don't expect much. A bedside table or another shelf would have been useful, though.

Breakfast takes a bit of planning here. The Gatehouse next door doesn't open until around 9am, so it won't help if you're setting off early. Starbucks across the road opens at about 7am, though it's pricey, and there's a 24-hour McDonald's not too far away. There aren't any local cafés or sandwich bars right nearby. The car park was packed during my visit, with several tradesmen's vans, including one or two large ones taking up two spaces. I'd arrive early if you need to park. For dinner, we ate at the Gatehouse, part of the Hungry Horse chain. It's the usual fast food and frozen pub fare, nothing fancy, but convenient if you don't want to go further into town. Inside, the room was clean, tidy, and reasonably well kept. There's no air conditioning, but the fan provided did the job. The shower had decent pressure, though it could have been stronger, and I slept peacefully. Reception gave me a warm welcome, and a very nice lady got my room sorted quickly and without fuss. I had a good stay at the Travelodge in King’s Lynn, and it's a simple, reliable place for an overnight stop.

The service and rooms are adequate, about what you'd expect from a Travelodge. There's ample parking, with Starbucks and a pub on the same site, plus a retail park around the corner. It's a 15 minute walk into town if you want to see what Kings Lynn has to offer.

I've been staying here for 3 months and found it good value, with good service. It's a great place in Kings Lynn, and the hospital, shops, and town centre are all easy to get to.

We had a lovely one night stopover for the Sandringham Estate festival. The train station is only 5 mins away by car, the staff were friendly and very helpful, and the rooms were kept to a high standard of cleanliness.
