The room was just right and looked exactly like the photos. When snow began falling outside, it was cosy to settle in with the complimentary hot drinks. Shaun also gave us useful advice about places to eat, which was a surprisingly wide choice for such a small place, and the hike we planned. He kindly let us leave our bags for an hour after checkout because our train was later. The only drawback was fairly loud traffic at night, though I know that can't be helped. We’d definitely recommend staying here.

Shaun, the owner, had all the recommendations we needed for visiting Kingussie and the surrounding area. The modern, cosy room had everything we needed, and we could walk anywhere in town. It may be the best place to stop if you're exploring nearby.

The place has a lovely, homely feel as soon as you walk into Gynack Villa. Shawn and his family were friendly, helpful and took good care of us. There are nice local coffee shops with great food and good hiking spots too, ask Shawn about them. Thanks to Shawn and the family!

Shaun was full of useful advice about trips, and we found Cafe Bistro a good dinner option. The room was perfect, with a spotless finish and a huge, high quality bed. He and his family made us feel welcome straight away. We could also eat our own breakfast in the house. The private bathroom is outside the room, as the booking notes say. It was clean and comfortable, but you do have to walk over, so a bathrobe would be a useful standard extra. We'd stay again.
