The fire was blazing, the staff and locals were friendly, and there was a fantastic choice of drinks. I hadn't been in for many years, so coming back today was a real surprise. The refurbishment about a year ago has made a huge difference. I'd happily return again and again, and rate the Suie above many of the bars near by Aviemore. More than happy to recommend it.
Pints, drams and pies made for a great time watching the six nations.
We'd visited Kincraig a few times but somehow missed this bar until now. Wish we'd come sooner. The kids, aged 9 and 11, were very welcome and spent most of the visit playing days with local kids. There's a nice drinks selection, great decor, wood fired pizza and the best loaded chips I've seen in ages. It's dog friendly too, with as many as 6 dogs in the pub at once. Highly recommend, and we'll be back next time we're in Kincraig.
We came across it after a day on the hill and loved the place. It's been modernised with real character and flair, with good beers and great craic. Can't wait to return.
We dropped in while spending our 'mini moon' in the area after our wedding. The owner was really kind, congratulated us and shared some of his own stories. The service was excellent, the welcome was warm, and the real ale was quality. What more could you ask for?
