A great place to come and chill. The market is really good.
The park is clean and secure, and the ball cage is well maintained. It’s a five-minute walk to the attractions.
We stayed for two weeks in a privately owned caravan, so I can’t comment on the caravans owned by Oakfield. The campsite is close to the arcades, beach and fairs, which is handy, but the facilities were shocking. The soft play area is advertised, yet only opens at night when the club is open. The play area was full of rubbish, with older kids running wild and no parents in sight. Staff were rude and unwelcoming, the shop barely exists, and the tiny arcade was full of rubbish, with machines empty, switched off or broken. The outdoor play area was good, but we won’t stay here again. We expected a good site because it’s a Lyons, but sadly it’s the worst Lyons one we’ve stayed at.
One of the best sites we’ve ever stayed at, and we’re coming back in April!
