The village nature reserve was a lovely surprise, and the meadow was a great spot to relax and watch all the wildlife that came by. Dorothy and Ian were great hosts, very knowledgeable about the area. The cottage was finished to a high standard and perfectly located for visiting nearby cities. We had a fabulous stay. If you love the outdoors and nature, this is the place for you. We definitely recommend it.
The garden was a lovely place to unwind after a busy day out, and the cottage itself was beautiful and very comfortable. Dorothy and Ian made us feel very welcome. It's ideally placed for great walks, days out to Fountain Abbey and Bolton Abbey, and visits to Knaresborough and Harrogate.
A wonderfully peaceful setting, and the hosts were as welcoming and helpful as could be. Highly recommend!
