Sunday lunch was one of the best I’ve had. The staff made the whole meal easy, explaining the dishes and drinks clearly and giving me plenty of time to decide. They were attentive without hovering, which I appreciated since eating alone can feel conspicuous in some restaurants. Thanks to the whole team. I’ll definitely be back.

We left full and very happy after a brilliant set menu lunch. The Scotch Egg was ridiculously good, the soup lovely, the burger the best I’ve ever had, and the spring risotto superb. Pudding was delicious too. What a find. We’ll be back, and recommend it 100% 👌 The staff, especially Mailie, were outstanding, really friendly and helpful, always with a nice smile. That made our lunch.

We stayed over Easter 2026 and had a real treat. The room was beautifully decorated with lovely touches, the shower was fab and the bed very comfortable. The menu didn’t disappoint either, we ate very well and enjoyed the whole experience. Service was impeccable, with amazing, friendly and attentive staff. Special mention to Scott. You won’t be disappointed.

For a long overdue date night, this was such a treat. The wine selection was brilliant, and I actually finished my plate, which rarely happens when I eat out. The food was absolutely delicious, with attentive, faultless service, lovely decor and a wonderful atmosphere. The restaurant was a comfortable temperature and the background music was just the right volume. If you’re after quality, the GT is the place.

The cauliflower cheese was incredible, and the desserts were delicious and nicely presented. We both went for the beef for Sunday lunch, and it was cooked perfectly, though the portion felt a little small for the price. Service was impeccable throughout. The beer list could use more variety: there were local options, but nothing beyond what you find in town's craft bars. The food was the main draw, and we can't wait to return.
