The owners make you feel welcome, and the single room with sea view, which is the only one I've stayed in, was fine. The beds are very firm, though. I slept on a more comfortable mattress in the military, and the wall-mounted TV is so small that my PC monitor at home is bigger. For a short, affordable stay with a decent breakfast and easy beach access, it's a good option. You're left to yourself, but the owners provide a number to call if you need anything. I'll probably be back for work trips, hopefully to softer mattresses and bigger TVs 😜

The location was great, and Martin and Jane were really helpful. I slept well in a comfortable bed, the shower was great, and breakfast was amazing. There was plenty to choose from, including a full English with eggs cooked how you like, which set us up for a day of house hunting.

The beds are the sort you have to climb up into, like in the old days, and I loved that. The rooms are immaculate, and the welcome and service couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. Martyn and Jane are great, and Martyn cooks a ripper breakfast, whatever he says. Thanks, I only wish I'd stayed longer, x.

Martin was a very friendly host, the location was prime, and breakfast was amazing. Our room was clean but very small, which was the main drawback for us.

The hosts were so friendly and happy to share local tips. They also cooked an amazing breakfast. Our room was comfortable, and we had a lovely view of the sea.
