There’s plenty to see and do nearby, and I really enjoyed having the bar on site. A very nice campsite with all the facilities.

We enjoyed some lovely walks nearby, and the village pub has a Patisserie with great cakes and coffee. The lodge was lovely and quiet, with clean rooms and fresh bedding.

We had a great time and there was plenty to do, with good facilities. The only small drawback was the morning and evening queues for the toilets. More toilets, or ones separate from the showers, would help, though I know that may not be easy to change. Otherwise, it’s a lovely family and pet friendly site. We’ll definitely be back!

Peaceful site with good views, and walks and cycling routes are easy to reach from here. A great find for campervans and medium sized motor homes, with new gravel pitches and electric.

The room was warm, the staff friendly, and breakfast was good. There’s also handy bike storage. For wi-fi, though, you have to go outside.
