Supper in the conservatory was a treat, and breakfast was superb. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well equipped. Clare and Paul’s beautiful barn was such a pleasure to stay in. Thanks as well for storing our bikes!

I stayed for one night while travelling north, and it felt like a little retreat. Clare and Paul are wonderful hosts, and the rooms and dining area are beautiful, with a relaxed feel to the decor. Dinner and breakfast were both a delight, with local meats and cheeses and produce from their garden.

The barn is just off the M6, making it a perfect stop on the way north. Clare and Paul provide first-class service, and the rooms are beautifully appointed. The food is simply prepared and delicious, with much of it from their own garden and a standout selection of local produce. The attention to detail is impressive. Highly recommend.

The evening platter was lovely, and breakfast brought right to the table was five-star. We came back for a second overnight stop on our way to Scotland, and Lancaster Barn was just as good as before. The rooms are beautiful, now with air conditioning, and the vegetable, herb and fruit garden is gorgeous. Paul & Clare keep their standards consistently high. Thanks again.

The glass dining room, with its natural furnishings, is as thoughtfully done as the calm, comfortable rooms. Clare and Paul made us feel very welcome and fed us well. This was our third stay at Lancaster Barn, and it felt just as wonderful as the first. They've turned the restored barn into a lovely haven, and put so much care into making it a really special B&B.
