The three-course dinner was outstanding, and there was a great choice of well-priced wine. We stayed in the beautiful Ribblehead suite as part of the January offer. It was huge and tastefully furnished, with a stunning bathroom and delicious homemade shortbread. The bar was cosy and welcoming for a drink before dinner. We also liked the eco credentials explained in the welcome book. Every staff member was delightful, friendly, and helpful. We’d highly recommend it and will definitely return.

I don’t usually bother writing reviews, but the staff here were so welcoming and went out of their way to give great service. I’ve stayed in expensive hotels around the world and haven’t had service like this. The hotel feels homely, with fires and old furniture, and the room was cosy with a comfy bed. The Molton Brown smellies were a nice touch, and the food was good. Some people might not like the worn look of parts of the furniture, but I liked that they patched things up instead of throwing them away. There are lots of nice walks nearby, and the location is lovely. The room had proper tea and coffee facilities and homemade biscuits. It’s dog friendly too. We didn’t bring our dog, but saw another family with theirs.

Room 7 had a great bath, and the tea, coffee, apples, and shortbread in the room were all lovely. We enjoyed a nice dinner and breakfast, and the staff were really friendly. The lounges are cosy and relaxing. I’d definitely come back.

The Traddock is amazing. Walking in straight away makes the place feel special, and the service is excellent without being fussy. The food was exceptional and the rooms welcoming. Austwick is a lovely village, a little off the beaten track, with the Game Cock as a great pub. The weekday offer is well worth considering. A fantastic experience, and we’ll be back soon.

We had a lovely Dinner+B+B stay at The Traddock a couple of weeks ago. It’s dog friendly, with beautiful walks right from the doorstep, perfect for us. The house is elegant and beautifully decorated, and the staff were polite, helpful, and made us feel well looked after. Dinner was delicious, with a thoughtful menu and dishes that were well executed. We’ll certainly visit again. Such a lovely treat.
