The gardens and grounds are beautiful, and the hosts are lovely. I stayed in a single room that was just the right size as somewhere to return to after days out exploring the area. Rita's vegetarian breakfasts were generous and really filling. I had a lovely stay at Whitmore.

Birdsong is the first thing you notice, and it sets the tone for this calm, nature-filled place. Whitmore has beautiful grounds, with hidden paths and little discoveries everywhere, unusual plants and trees, wild ducks overhead, and lovely views. The hosts are welcoming, kind, and interesting, and the accommodation was clean and pleasant.

I came away feeling rested. It’s a peaceful sanctuary if you need some quiet, with a lovely, spotlessly clean bedroom and lots of quirky details. Rita was friendly and accommodating, and gave me useful advice about the local area.

Such a peaceful, beautiful place. Whether you're vegetarian or not, it's well worth visiting if you're after somewhere a bit different.

The breakfast was lovely, and the lady there was so pleasant and happy to help with anything. She even let me wash my motorcycle before I left. Lovely location.
