The fire made a cold, rainy winter day feel welcoming, and the Guinness was smooth and clearly well kept. We were five out for Sunday lunch, including one adult with food sensory issues, and Fiona and the staff helped us adjust things without making a fuss. Everyone enjoyed their meal, portions were generous, and the food, drinks, and service were excellent as usual. A friendly atmosphere all round. Thanks, Beach Green Hotel, we’ll be back soon.

Our two dogs were welcome too, with water and treats, and we spent a relaxed Christmas lunch in the cosy, friendly bar. The staff were attentive whenever we needed something but never rushed us. Our table was ready when our group of eight arrived, and the waiter asked everyone’s name and used them while making sure we got the right food and drinks. Everything was cooked just right and there was plenty, so several of us took the supplied boxes home for tomorrow’s dinner. We were billed together, though the waiter’s screen showed individual billing was possible.

We popped in with a couple of friends for a quick bite, and both the food and service were far better than expected for this area. The staff did everything they could for us. Honestly, it beat the food and service at many high-end restaurants. Definitely worth trying.

The vegan Wellington Sunday roast was full of flavour, with vegetables cooked just right and generous portions. We loved the friendly service and atmosphere, and my husband was pleased to find 0% beers on tap. We were blown away and would gladly come back.

After being let down on Christmas Eve, we contacted the Beach Green Hotel team in a bit of a Christmas crisis. They welcomed us so warmly, made us feel at home, and the room was excellent. Some people go far beyond what you expect, and they deserve to be celebrated. Thank you for really making our Christmas.
