The food was tasty, and we had a nice visit. It happened to be knitting class night while we were there, but that didn't spoil the meal.

Moira and Nikki made our two night stay a real pleasure. The communication before we arrived was great, and the hotel felt comfortable and good value. Our room was lovely, with a comfy bed, shower, TV, hairdryer, en-suite toiletries, complimentary water, and a well stocked tray of tea, coffee, milk and hot chocolate. Dinner was superb, with huge portions and everything tasting great. We needed to leave very early on the first morning. Moira immediately said it was fine and offered either a takeaway breakfast or cereal, juice, toast, jam and a kettle for us to use. We'll be back!

The Lauderdale Hotel is easy to miss if you're coming from the other end of town, and it's opposite the local caravan site. That'd be a shame, because the food and service are both high standard, with lots of choice and generous servings. It was busy when we visited, but our big dog was no problem. A very pleasant experience, so don't hesitate to stop.

I was there for a meeting. The food was fine, and the room was tired but still functional.
