The Old School

The Children were blown away by the adventurous house and had so much room to play and explore. The heating was on before we arrived, and we felt at home straight away. The beds were comfortable and everything we could wish for was on hand. The decor is stunning and clearly thoughtfully done, and there are great amenities nearby. The arrival instructions made getting in very easy. I chose The Old School because of the setting as well as the pictures Damien advertised. I knew it would be perfect for a family weekend away, and my instinct was right. We arrived with our Children and four legged friend, opened the front door and our jaws dropped. It was a magnificent home, and we had a lovely arrival and fantastic weekend. I proposed here and she said yes, so this amazing setting will always be part of our family’s memories. Thank you so much. We can’t wait to return for our anniversary, if not before!

We’ve stayed here numerous times over the years, and this visit was amazing as always. It was lovely to see the place fully decorated for Christmas. My partner and I got engaged during the weekend, and GWE heard about it and gave us a thoughtful gift to mark the occasion. The service went above and beyond. I’d always recommend staying here.

The Old School is beautiful inside and out, and we can’t wait to return to the UK and stay here again. It’s the most beautiful place, perfect for anyone wanting to explore South Wales. I highly recommend it. Five stars.
