The house has beautiful decor, ensuite rooms and nine acres of grounds, with immaculate lawns and a woodland area. It’s an old converted farmhouse, and the welcome was excellent. Breakfast is continental and lovely. One thing to know, shoes have to come off at the conservatory door, though the carpets feel lovely underfoot. A wonderful place for an overnight stop. They’re still taking bookings, but the property is for sale and may be sold as a going concern or returned to a family home. Go and experience this lovely B&B.

Joseph and Martyn made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. The house and setting are superb, the rooms are beautifully decorated and appointed, and the grounds have ducks, free-range chickens and other animals. There’s plenty to visit nearby, but start the day with the full Cornish breakfast. It’s freshly made and beautifully presented. A truly excellent stay. We’ll be back!

The house is in an idyllic spot beside the river Tamar, with a brilliant base for sightseeing in Devon and Cornwall. Breakfast was amazing, and Martyn and Joseph were unbelievable hosts who couldn’t do enough for us. Fantastic guesthouse, we’ll definitely stay again.

Newmoor park guest house is ideally placed for visiting both Devon and Cornwall. Martyn and Joseph are first class hosts, and the accommodation is first class too. The breakfast menu features high quality local produce. You really should try the full Cornish.

We stayed in No 6 yurt and would visit again. It was cosy and romantic, but there was plenty for kids to explore too. The woodland was lovely to wander around, and you can collect your own firewood or pay a small fee to have a fire made for you. The yurt has cooking facilities, a great instant shower and eco toilets with no smells.
