Ta Mill Cottages & Lodges - Meadowview Chalet 4

We brought about 60 people from around the world to Ta Mill for a spiritual retreat, and it turned out beautifully. Kamila and Bruno went far beyond what we expected to make it a success. The place feels magical, tucked into stunning surroundings. We'd give it more than five stars if we could.

The peace and lovely views made it easy to switch off, and we really enjoyed having the dogs and cat pop by. We booked the lodge for our 20th anniversary; Kamila and her dogs came to greet us, and she gave us helpful suggestions for places to eat. When there was an issue with the shower, she sorted it quickly. She also cleaned and topped up the hot tub halfway through our stay, and the games room was a great extra. A few small drawbacks: the shower pressure was weak, the main bedroom could use a bigger bed, and the nearest pub is too far to walk to. We had a great time and would recommend it. We'll definitely be back.

The grounds are beautiful, and the service at our event was lovely. I left a dress in my room, but when I called, they had found it and offered to mail it to me. I was still nearby, so I went back to collect it. I'd love to return.

We were stranded in Cornwall and booked at the last minute. The hosts were so helpful with the arrangements and made us feel welcome. The accommodation was clean, warm and inviting, with plenty to do on site, including nice walks around the grounds with the dogs. There's also lots to see nearby if you have a car.
