The fish and chips were really fresh and tasty, and I was delighted to have mash with mine. Portions were good, the food was great, and the place felt homely and welcoming. We can’t wait to try some other dishes :)

Four of us went for Sunday lunch, and Tina and Nicki took great care of us. I’m gluten-free, and they made sure we had everything we wanted without any fuss. They clearly know the food their chef prepares. The roast was excellent, cooked perfectly with locally sourced ingredients, and we ate in a warm, happy atmosphere. Such a lovely, traditional little pub. We love it.

The owners, their beautiful dog ‘Jess’ and the locals made us feel so welcome. Our roast dinner was delicious, with a generous amount of food and a massive jug of gravy. There was plenty of choice, so we’ll definitely come back and try some other dishes 😊

We had a great evening celebrating with our extended family. The landladies were fabulous and couldn’t do enough for us. The prices were reasonable and most of the meals were very tasty, though I was disappointed with the beef madras. We’ll definitely return!

Really good food in generous portions, and the staff were lovely. We ate in the bar, where the decor could use a little attention, but that didn’t take away from the food or service. Recommended.
