The Seven Stars

The Seven Stars was such a welcome find while I was travelling. I walked in without a reservation on a Monday looking for dinner, and they greeted me with a smile. Everyone was warm and friendly, the service was great, and I had some lovely conversations. Sea bass was the catch of the night, and the staff suggested chocolate tort with ice cream for dessert. Both were delicious. It was a delightful place to stop, eat, and enjoy a little escape from the world. Thanks for a lovely dinner 🥰

Saturday at 2pm was fairly busy, but the rear dining room had a lovely atmosphere and the service was friendly. The three of us all chose the steak and ale short crust pie, with mash, root veg and a little gravy boat, plus a small portion of chips to share. It looked modest, but we all struggled to finish. A proper pie with pastry all around, not just a pastry lid. We’d recommend it to friends and family and will happily return. The cheesy chips in the front bar looked fantastic.

We happened to visit the Seven Stars in Ledbury while seeing relatives nearby, and the meal was well worth travelling from London for. The staff were polite and really attentive. If I’m in the area again, this will be my first choice. Highly recommend it. Thank you, Steve.

After trudging miles through rain, we came in cold and soaked, and Seven Stars soon had us smiling beside a roaring fire. Chelsea and Lucas were lovely hosts, even with our wet clothes, and the Guinness was velvety and topped with a shamrock that deserved a kiss. We enjoyed a brilliant burger and a delicious soup and sandwich, then warmed up by the fire before heading back out into the wind and rain. Cold, wet or hungry, this is a cosy pub worth a stop. Five glorious stars and a Guinness cheer! 🍻
