The gardens kept our young children busy for hours, with a swing, slide and trampoline, and we often ate outside overlooking the lake. We spent five wonderful nights in the cottage, a beautifully kept spot beside a small lake, surrounded by immaculate gardens. It was spotless and well maintained, with a welcome basket of cake, bread and eggs laid that morning by the owners’ chickens. The owners live next door and were friendly and very helpful while giving us space. The kitchen was well equipped, and the cottage had everything we needed with small children, including a high chair, travel cot, blackout blinds, night lights and games. It’s well placed for the Malvern Hills and Wye Valley. I’d recommend it, especially for families with little ones.
