Brownhill House Apartments

I’ve been trying to reach the manager for three weeks about a refund and keep being left on read and ignored. The place wasn’t clean by any standard. The area was awful, and there was a terrible damp smell on entering. The bathroom was mouldy, with damp and dirt creeping in from the window, and no ventilation that I could see. The fire alarm was hanging from the ceiling without a battery. Furniture was falling apart, and canvas art covered holes in the walls. Avoid at all costs.

The staff were really rude, and they don’t reply to messages. When the Queen died and the BBC event in Leeds was cancelled, I tried to move my booking, but they said cancelling or changing it would cost another £200. They weren’t accommodating at all. Don’t stay here.

My son was placed here during the pandemic. It’s a house converted into flats, and this apartment is a basement flat on a residential street. It was in reasonable, clean condition and had the essentials, including home-from-home kitchen things and a fully functional kitchen.
