The price was reasonable, the bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. Staff were amazing, friendly, and accommodating. The bathroom looked dated and needs an upgrade, especially the radiators. The floor was black around the bottom of the radiator, so we turned it off.

A beautiful building in a lovely, quiet location. The staff were very welcoming, and my clean, nicely decorated room had a comfy bed. Breakfast was fabulous for both quality and choice, though another juice option would be nice.

We love staying at Haleys. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, and the rooms are clean and tidy. Breakfast is the best part. Thanks, Paul, for the veggie sausages. We've already booked our next stay.

I booked a room for my parents and was next level disappointed. They got a different room from the one advertised, with cables hanging from the TV and two single type beds pushed together. The bathroom had rust marks and discolouration. Breakfast was fine, but making toast meant taking a chair with you. Just buy a proper toaster for Christ sake. The orange juice tasted either really, really cheap or like the powdered stuff you mix with water. There are loads more things I could mention, but I'm disputing the fee because advertising a special room and delivering what felt like the janitor's closet isn't on. I could get a decent room at premier inn for £50 less. Haley’s used to be a good hotel. I've got a mobile phone full of pictures showing the downward travel. It's just become cheap, even the breakfast bar tables are squares of hardwood mounted together. It's sad to eat offcuts of wood.
