I stayed here in 2021-2022 while doing my master's at the University of Leeds. The postgraduate flat was exactly the kind of place I wanted. There was plenty of space to study and hang out, and the rooms and kitchens had everything we needed and more. Staff were friendly and helpful, post could be sent to reception, and you could book the cinema room. It's a really nice place to live, with a good distance to the universities and town.

I visited my friend in the studio section and thought the room was quaint and well planned, with a bathroom I liked too. For luxury student accommodation, it seems worth the price and its close location if you can afford it. I also went to Manchester and saw more student accommodation there. I guess you can find Unite Students accommodation pretty much wherever you are.

Even now, when I visit Leeds, I make sure to go back to my second home, Refinery, at least to see Ian, everyone's favourite security guy. The security team are super friendly, and the staff are good. I lived there last year and felt especially safe as an international student. The facilities are amazing, and it really is my home away from home. I miss my time there a lot.

They wouldn't help me with a stressful issue, and more could have been done with my suggestions. The Refinery ruined my university experience to the point that I wanted to kill myself, though thankfully I didn't. I trusted what I saw online instead of viewing it before travelling to the UK, which was my mistake. Things don't always live up to expectations. Now I feel left with nothing and just want to focus on my studies. Other student accommodation has been more helpful. I don't know how long I'll last at university before I'm completely destroyed. Overseas students should be allowed to view before booking.

The amenities are kept beautifully, and having 24-hour security is a huge plus. Staff across security, maintenance, cleaning, and especially reception are incredibly lovely and always happy to help. Students from first years to postgrads, international and home students, are all included. I can't recommend this place to live enough.
