The Queens Hotel

Katie and Sam were so friendly and helpful, and made sure we had what we needed, including helping with our room. The decor is classy and fantastic, the rooms are lovely and really clean, and the cafe coffee is delicious. Great hotel.

I left my rings in the room and called the next day. Katie sorted it straight away and arranged to have them safely posted back to London. She was so kind and genuinely caring, and I'm really grateful to her. We had such a lovely weekend. The room was cozy, with a view over the main square in Leeds and the Christmas markets below. Drinks at the hotel bar on Sunday night were perfect too, with beautiful decor and delicious cocktails. Amazing experience, and we'll definitely return. Thanks again, especially to Katie!

We paid £289 for two nights, and for that price it was good enough. The bed was very comfortable and big, and our family room, number 532, was a decent size. It's a beautiful building with lots of personality, a great location, and nicely decorated rooms. The room finishes let it down, though. There were chipped corners throughout, some paintwork was off, the woodwork could be better, and the desk chair was ripped at the sides. We asked the housekeeper to change our mugs and leave tea bags for our two-night stay, but were told this is only done each morning. She gave us two bags, but no extra biscuits or tea for the next morning, as if we could only have one cup a day. They also made up the sofa bed even though we had noted in the booking that we didn't need it because we had a baby.

We were on the 8th floor, and our room was really quiet even though it looked over the square. The cosy room we booked was big enough and had everything we needed, including a bath. Loved the art deco style and the gorgeous interiors downstairs. It's handy for everything in Leeds city centre, and the staff were very friendly.
