There's secure gated access for people with a key, and valet parking is available, though only a few apartments have an allocated space, so check before moving in. The location is good, with LIDL, ALDI, TESCO Express and plenty of other options nearby. It's an apartment building, and I never saw any lodging service. Frequent fire alarms can be painful, and water drips from upper floors onto the outside area, so the premises need proper maintenance. Overall, it's okay because of the location.

It's a very convenient spot for halal food. A halal butcher is just steps away, UMRAH, a large halal supermarket, is about a five-minute walk, and there are lots of nearby halal restaurants serving shawarma, kebabs, mandi, grilled chicken, halal Subway and halal Jollibee. The tenants seem decent and caring, and the entrances have a good security system. The lifts work, but the entrance feels like an abandoned mansion. The property needs serious maintenance and cleaning, and some apartments are difficult to reach with pushchairs or wheelchairs, though it's manageable. Basement parking is very limited. If you're choosing a SIM service, SMARTY has poor signal in some apartments. BT full fiber isn't available at the moment, but 4th fiber is working well.

Alexandra house is one of Leicester's tallest apartment buildings, close to the city centre. There are plenty of shops nearby, including LIDL, ALDI and TESCO Express, and transport links are available.

It's a good place and very close to the city centre, but it needs a lot of maintenance.
