The rooms were comfortable, with super beds, excellent showers and fluffy towels. The receptionist this morning was lovely and sympathetic, could see our request in the system, refunded our two breakfasts and suggested we send feedback asking for a partial refund. We’d specifically requested interconnecting rooms and were told we’d have them, but on arrival the receptionist said none were available. I’m travelling with my daughter, a toddler and a newborn, and the plan was for the toddler to sleep in my room so my daughter could get some much needed rest between night feeds. Instead, she’s exhausted after a 6 am start and has a full on day visiting her grandmother. It seems the central booking line, in another country, accepted payment without proper knowledge of the facilities. Our booking ref AKL8549054. Thanks, Jenny.

We’ve stayed here a few times, and the girls in the restaurant remember us whenever we come back. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional, and go above and beyond for guests. It’s in a quiet location, with clean rooms and very comfortable beds. Highly recommend for a couple of nights 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The welcome was friendly, and the room had the basics, including coffee and milk. The bed looked fine, and I slept well, but there was a strong damp smell. I also found hairs and pubic hairs under the quilt and on the pillows. Breakfast was cold, including the egg and bacon, so the hot plate wasn't much use. Dinner was just as disappointing the next day as the first: a £4.10 Coke, a burger with a very hard bun, an unclear bit of green stuff, cheese, five chips and a smear of coleslaw. It tasted awful. I wouldn't book here again.

Good value and handy for visiting Leicester by car, with the motorway nearby. My room was clean and fresh, with a large bed and a good shower. Breakfast is served in a separate building, which was fine, though heavy rain could make that awkward. There’s no gym or pool.

We stayed on 5th October. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and Fosse parks are close, so the location worked well for us. We had a couple of drinks in the bar, where Nadine was lovely and helpful. The restaurant has a good choice of food, and breakfast was very good.
