Premier Inn Leicester City Centre - Train Station

We came with friends to see a show and had a lovely big room with a view from the 12th floor. Sabrina was an absolute diamond, from check-in through our meal in the restaurant. She sorted out other room issues for us too and made us all feel welcome and cared for. The food was good, and the ravioli was nice, though maybe it needed less oil. We'll stay here again and hope Sabrina is still there.

After ten years away, it was good to return. The spaces have been renovated, but the familiar comfort is still there. Everyone at the front desk, bar and restaurant did a great job. I didn't catch their names, but they were all lovely. When our hairdryer wasn't working, I took it to the desk while a staff member was helping other guests check in. Less than five minutes later, she brought a replacement to our room. The beds were comfortable, though the shower was a little weak and squealed. Breakfast was hearty, and I love a cooked English breakfast. We also ate dinner here on two nights. The Makhani Chicken was my favourite, but everything was delicious. One breakfast tip: if you've prebooked and have a non-'western' name, give your room number and full name, not just your surname. They couldn't find our booking at first because my middle name had been entered as my last name.

We were here for the night before my daughter's early hospital appointment. Ella served us throughout the night and was such a lovely young woman. She was smiley and happy even though she seemed rushed off her feet. My daughter said she was kind and helpful, made us feel welcome at check-in, and that she can't wait to come back. The restaurant food arrived quickly and was delicious. My daughter really liked it. We'll be back next week for another appointment and will definitely stay here again. I got a great price by booking well in advance. The hotel is a short walk from the railway station, and the staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. My room was clean and at a pleasant temperature.
