Jane made us feel welcome from the start and showed us around her lovely home. Everything was clean and well kept, and our large bedroom had a shared bathroom. We never had to wait for it, and the shower was very powerful. The other guests were friendly, and the place felt like a home from home without anyone being intrusive. There’s also a lovely shared lounge and dining room, plus a well-equipped kitchen. Jane even walked with us into town to point out the bus stops and library, where we could find information about the area. Several places to eat and drink are about a five-minute walk away. Sizewell, Thorpeness and Aldeburgh are a short drive, and we’d recommend breakfast at the cafe by the Power Station. Southwold is worth the roughly 20-mile drive too. It’s a great base for anyone on a budget who still wants quality. We’ll definitely stay again when we’re back in the area.

Good value for money overall. The beds were comfortable, and there was WiFi and smart TVs. The layout is modern, with useful kitchen facilities including a washer and dryer. The bathroom and WC are shared.

I went to visit a friend who’s staying there. The place was very clean, homely and welcoming, and I was impressed by the facilities. Highly recommend.
