We were glad to have a comfortable place to return to between visits with family while we were in Tirah for a family funeral. It was a sad trip, but Karen made our stay enjoyable. The double room was immaculate and spacious, with a very comfortable bed, an en suite shower and plenty of tea and coffee. Breakfast was the best ever, freshly cooked with everything we wanted. Thank you, Tirah.

Karen made us feel very welcome, and we had a lovely, relaxing weekend. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was first class with loads of choice. We couldn't fault the place and recommend staying here.

Karen was a wonderful host, and the quiet, peaceful setting had a lovely local pub close by. The room was spacious and everywhere was so clean. Showers were a dream thanks to the water pressure. Breakfast came with a hearty full cooked option and any kind of egg, plus large portions of cereal with fruit and yoghurt. Just a few minutes' drive from the seafront, Tirah was an ideal base for exploring Suffolk. I couldn't fault it.

We were here with others to attend a dear friend's funeral. Thank you for showing us such kindness, warmth and sensitivity over those few days. Everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable and relaxing, and it was a fabulous place to stay while exploring the area. Highly recommended. We’ll return when the circumstances are better. The host went above and beyond during my stay, even staying up well past check-in time to let me in and moving breakfast earlier for me. There was also a little fridge in the room to keep the milk cool for tea. I really enjoyed my stay and will come back.
