The sea view makes the detour worthwhile. It’s a peaceful place, and the hosts were warm and welcoming. Our room had plenty of space for two, and the bed was comfortable. Check-in and check-out were easy too. It’s reached by a long, winding path off the main road, so offline maps are useful. Finding it was manageable, though.

The food was great, and the setting beside Loch Duich is lovely. Getting there means taking a stretch of single-track road, and the B&B sits a little off the beaten track. Bring cash, since they can’t take card payments.
