No. 2 Pepper Arden

My wife says I’m a snob about where we stay, especially cleanliness, decor, furniture and facilities. With that in mind, No2 Pepper Arden is one of the best places we’ve stayed on a UK holiday. The apartment was tidy and very clean when we arrived, and it was nicely decorated and furnished. The bed, pillows, duvet and sheets all felt clean and welcoming. I’m a big guy, and I’ve slept in beds that looked or felt so cheap I worried they’d fall apart. I also hate linen that looks flimsy or doesn’t even fit. None of that was an issue here. Everything was spot on. The kitchen had good quality utensils, and there was no tacky decor that left you wondering why it was there. We were greeted with good coffee and tea, soft bread and cake, plus a prosecco chilling in the fridge. I think it was for us, and if it wasn’t, well, too late! Nice touch, guys. There’s so much to see and do nearby. My kids, 5 and 3, were well entertained and fell into bed knackered every night. The hosts are lovely to talk to as well. We were so impressed that I’ve booked our next stay. I don’t think I’ll stay anywhere else for family vacations. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful flat.
