The breakfast was a highlight, especially starting the day with Sarah’s home-cooked food after ordering the night before. She was also really helpful with suggestions for places to eat around the Dales. Our room was spacious and comfortable, a lovely spot to unwind after exploring. We recently stayed at Stow House and couldn’t recommend it more. Sarah made us feel very welcome.

The views from Kez were amazing, and the room was roomy with a really comfortable bed. We had a great stay. Breakfast and service, rooms, value, and the location for walks all get five stars from us. Highly recommended. Sorry, we didn’t take any hotel photos, but the website has plenty.

We loved staying here. The host was welcoming and flexible, and breakfast was tasty with an option besides the full English. The property is beautiful and well placed, and our room was clean and spacious.

The location made it easy to walk to the falls, and our spacious room had excellent views. I loved the freestanding bath. Breakfast was pre-ordered and arrived promptly, with really good quality food. The granola was especially yummy. Sarah welcomed us with a much-needed pot of tea in the lounge and gave us tips about the area. The building has a lot of history and has been restored beautifully, with original details alongside the hosts’ own style and some great art and decor. One small thing, the room was quite warm even in mid-February, but opening the window at night sorted it, or you could turn the thermostat down.

We keep coming back to Stow House and the Dales. The cocktail hour is a lovely extra, and the whole team deserve a big thank you for spoiling us again over four days. The B&B sets a high standard, from the warm welcome to the large, airy rooms with beautiful design, and the breakfast.
