A lovely location for a clean, comfortable and very cosy cottage. I highly recommend staying here, you’ll love it.

The cottage is small but just right for a couple, quaint and tastefully decorated. The owner has made good use of every bit of space, and it’s stocked with everything you might need. We’d forgotten cling film while making a packed lunch, but found some in the cupboard. The welcome pack was much appreciated, as were the milk and butter in the fridge. It also included bread and holiday essentials, beer and wine. I’m a keen horse racing fan and look forward to seeing the horse's on the gallops. This really is a class act, and I’d recommend it to anyone.

Old Cartmel cottage was cosy and comfortable, and we’d stay again. Parking was the only snag.
