The breakfast was amazing, and the room was a good size. Staff were friendly, and the place is well located in Askrigg. Finding parking on the road can be a bit tricky when it’s busy, and sound carries easily between rooms. I suppose that’s to be expected for this area and type of building.

We had the dogs with us, and the dog-friendly room was huge. The towels were fluffy and smelled lovely, and both the room and shower room were immaculate. A good bed, nice linen and pillows, a quiet stay, and a great breakfast too. The owners were friendly and efficient. What’s not to like? I can highly recommend this cracking little B&B.

We wished we’d stayed the full time instead of moving on to Simonstone Hall. Lesson learnt, and we’ll certainly return. The couple who run this little gem were lovely and attentive, the food arrived hot and tasty with a smile, and they generously shared information about local highlights, including pubs and places to eat. A fabulous two-night stay.

We stayed for a couple of nights with family and Hector the dog. The guest house is nice and centrally located in Askrigg. The owners were friendly and attentive, and breakfast was amazing.

What a lovely village. I had room 3, which was just perfect, and the welcome was warm. Mike and Alison were ideal hosts.
