We had to alter our Sunday evening table booking at pretty short notice, and the customer service was brilliant, friendly, and helpful. The food was delicious, with perfect gluten free options. Thank you!

They keep the ales well and even welcome dogs in the bar. The menu has plenty for gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan diets, and both the steak pie and risotto were spot on. It's a great pub, with friendly, attentive staff who know their stuff.

Popped in with family for lunch and really enjoyed it. The service was cheerful, the place cosy, and the food excellent. My cousin's chicken balti was particularly good. Cracking little country pub, with a great selection of ales too!

There isn't much in the village itself, but the surrounding area has plenty to do and some amazing views. The location is beautiful. What really stood out for me was the food, some of the best I've ever tasted, with excellent quality homemade dishes. The rooms were clean and well kept, and the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. An amazing place to stay, well worth a visit.

After walking around Aysgarth Falls, this is a lovely place to settle in for a good meal. The Wheatsheaf Inn is a cosy, characterful pub and restaurant in a pretty corner of Yorkshire, with warm decor and a welcoming feel. Staff were friendly, and the food was tasty. One person in our party wasn't happy with his steak, but the waitress dealt with it superbly, with care, understanding, and professionalism. A charming spot to unwind.
