The room was modern, clean, and very comfortable, and the shower on the top floor was piping hot and powerful. The price was an absolute bargain for that time of year. The location made it easy to get around, with Greggs, Burger King, and KFC nearby and plenty of choices for dinner and breakfast. I'd read earlier comments and wasn't sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. Full marks, I genuinely can't fault it. Thanks for a great stay.

The room was spacious and had a kettle and coffee, but the bedroom's bathtub had a shower curtain. Carpets need a proper clean, the pillows were hard, and WiFi is free for 30 min before it becomes chargeable, which isn't really nice. Needs some improvements.

For what it cost, I expected much better. The price matched a four-star Novotel in Edinburgh, yet this Travelodge didn’t come close to those standards, and I felt short-changed. The room itself was plain but roomy, and the bedding was clean. The bathroom was the letdown: the water was barely warm, so I ended up taking a cold shower in winter. Not pleasant.

My partner accidentally left a bag behind, and the staff have put a lot of time and care into helping him get it back. They’ve been so generous with their support. It’s not often you come across customer service this good, and we’re really grateful.

We stayed three nights at a comfortable price, and Mrs Olivia Bolavucu at reception was really helpful. I’d highly recommend them and will definitely be back.
