The beds were comfy and everything was spotless. We also enjoyed the fresh salad from the greenhouse, especially those tomatoes, and the milk came in a proper glass bottle. I liked finding the binder about the building's history too, definitely worth a read. Debbie and Mark made us feel welcome straight away and knew loads about the area. Such a lovely, peaceful spot for some much-needed R&R. You'd be very happy staying here.

The hosts were so helpful, nothing seemed like too much trouble. It's warm, clean and cosy, and a lovely place to enjoy the birds, wildlife and Dartmoor. The setting is quiet and secluded, just what you need for a break. The internet works well enough, though I wouldn't count on fast speeds for conference calls. Put work aside and enjoy the peace.

A little late writing this, but we wanted to say how much we enjoyed our stay. Debbie makes sure you've got what you need, and the place is peaceful, clean and surrounded by beautiful scenery. Lovely location and hosts.

The owner was friendly, and the dogs are lovely. It's a picturesque, very quiet place, with a private, sectioned-off garden and a big shower in the bathroom. The drive is steep and there aren't any steps, so take care. I'm 6'4 and found the ceiling too low. The two 3ft single mattresses also roll you towards the middle, which made sleeping uncomfortable for us.

Debbie was completely attentive to what we needed, and the views were spectacular. An absolutely amazing place. Couldn't have asked for better.
