The sauna and spa bath were a great way to unwind after busy days of walking, and we really enjoyed our five days at Danesgate. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped, with comfortable beds and a good kitchen. It's nicely placed near amenities and all the historical sites, and the owners are friendly and easy to contact if needed. A family member walks with a stick, so the few steps inside the apartment were helpful. There's a staircase at the entrance, but he had fewer steps to manage overall than in a house. It's a very nice apartment, and we'd definitely stay again in Lincoln. Highly recommend it.

The location made it easy to see the old historical area. The Cathedral, Castle and Old Bishops Palace were a 5-10 minute stroll away, and the walk there was lovely, with steep cobbled hills and properties dating back to the 1100's. The modern town centre is just a few minutes downhill in the other direction. The Coach House is a charming place for a few days, with every convenience we wanted and a few extras. I didn't get to use the sauna, but the spa bath with its different coloured lights was a real treat. My husband and I had a wonderful time and would definitely return if we get the chance.

Mark and Helen were always on hand to help or offer advice, and it's clear they really care about their guests having a good stay. I visited from Essex to explore the city's history and see the Domesday book in the Castle, and the apartment was a great base. It has its own parking and is just a stroll from the old part of the city, with everything else close by too. It felt more like a house than an apartment, and was much bigger than I expected, immaculate throughout. I loved the coffee maker, welcome pack, sauna and spa bath, really all of it. Lincoln was lovely, and I just wish I could have stayed longer. Thumbs up, guys. Hope to be back.

The Cathedral view was amazing, and the city is beautiful with so much to see and do. The accommodation was lovely and very clean, with beds sooooo comfortable. We loved the sauna and whirlpool bath. Everything had been thought of, including tea, coffee and milk. The hosts were very helpful. We'll definitely recommend it.

We came from Nottingham for our first wedding anniversary and had an amazing stay at the Coach House. The spa bath and sauna made it especially relaxing, and the place had everything we needed and more. Many thanks. We'll recommend it to others and definitely come back next year for our next anniversary.
