Linlithgow is a lovely, well-kept town and a handy base for exploring the area. The trains to Edinburgh, Glasgow, and the airport are quick and efficient. The stay was comfortable, each bedroom had its own ensuite, and the town was close by.

We had a fabulous few days here over New Year. The living room was small but comfortable, while the kitchen was large. There are two king-size beds, both ensuite, plus a big private garden and lovely views across the landscape.

My grandma lived in this house for a while in the forties. We drove over to see it while visiting Scotland. It was really cool to see, and I wish it were still a bed and breakfast so I could have seen more of it.
