Linen Bank

After long, cold days working at Ineos FPS in Grangemouth, I appreciated the comfortable apartment, especially the small kitchenette and the bathroom with its strong shower. Parking was easy, and there was always a space. Pubs, cafes, takeaways, and places to eat are close by. My front-facing apartment looked onto the high street, so some evenings and weekends could be a bit noisy, which makes sense given how popular Linlithgow is for going out.

The owner was genuinely lovely, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast came in a basket with a good selection of continental items, and the apartment was spotless and had everything we needed, plus a little extra. The bed was comfortable, though I personally would have liked two pillows each. The lighting was a nice touch, and I can imagine the courtyard being great in summer. Restaurants and bars are all around, right in the middle of everything. I'd gladly stay again and recommend it.

We were welcomed with thoughtful extras, including eggs and milk in the fridge, fruit, and breakfast treats with coffee and snacks. The host even showed us around the apartment personally, which was a lovely gesture. It was spacious and well kept, and the deep bathtub was perfect for a soak. The location is excellent, with everything within walking distance. A ceiling fan to move the air around and another living room chair would have been handy, but those are small things. We'd stay again in a heartbeat.

Our split-level courtyard room was modern and had everything we needed. My mother could step right out into the courtyard whenever she wanted to smoke, which made things easy. Linlithgow itself has plenty of history and is worth a visit, and both Edinburgh and Glasgow are a short train ride away.
